How to write an article from a topic

  1. Enter the topic in the box. You have 800 characters (about 130 words), tracked by the counter underneath, which is enough for the topic, the audience and the points you want covered.
  2. Choose a tone (Informative, Casual, Professional or Persuasive) and a length (Short, Medium or Long).
  3. Click Write article. Long articles take 10 to 20 seconds because the complete text is generated before anything is shown.
  4. Copy the draft. Subheadings arrive as Markdown lines starting with ##, which you can keep or convert.

The shape of every draft

The server-side instruction fixes the structure: a short engaging introduction, several sections each under a ## subheading, and a brief conclusion, written in the language of your topic. Your tone and length are inserted into one request line, such as 'Write a persuasive article (about 500-700 words) about this topic:'.

LengthWords requestedSections you typically getSilent reading time
Short250 to 350Intro, 2 sections, conclusionAbout 1 minute
Medium500 to 700Intro, 3 to 4 sections, conclusionAbout 2.5 minutes
Long900 to 1,200Intro, 5 to 6 sections, conclusionAbout 4.5 minutes

Turning a topic into a brief

A bare keyword such as 'green tea benefits' produces a generic draft because the model has nothing to narrow on. The 800-character box is meant for a brief, not a title.

ElementExample
TopicThe benefits of drinking green tea
AudiencePeople who drink three or more coffees a day and want to cut back
AngleFocus on caffeine and how it feels, not on weight-loss claims
Must coverCaffeine per cup compared with coffee; how to brew it so it is not bitter
AvoidMiracle health claims and unverified studies

Combined, that brief runs to about 55 words and fits with room to spare. If you already have an outline, paste the section titles you want and the model will usually follow them in order.

Tone compared

ToneVoiceFits
InformativeNeutral, explanatory, third personHow-to guides, explainers, knowledge-base pages
CasualFirst or second person, contractions, lighter sentencesPersonal blogs, newsletters
ProfessionalMeasured, precise, few flourishesCompany blogs, industry commentary
PersuasiveBuilds to a recommendation, uses rhetorical questionsOpinion pieces, landing-page copy

Handling the Markdown headings

The result box shows raw text, so each subheading appears as '## Heading'. Paste into an editor that understands Markdown, such as Obsidian, Notion, Ghost or a GitHub README, and the lines render as second-level headings. In Word or Google Docs, delete the two hashes and apply the Heading 2 style. Bulleted lists, when the model uses them, come through as lines beginning with a hyphen.

Facts and what you are responsible for

  • The model has no web access and no citations. Figures, dates and study names come from its training data and can be wrong or outdated.
  • Statistics are the most common error: verify every number before publishing, or replace it with one you have sourced.
  • For health, money or legal topics, treat the draft as an outline to be rewritten by someone who knows the subject.
  • Add your own examples and experience; a draft without them reads like every other AI article on the topic.
  • Some platforms and publishers require disclosure of AI assistance. Check the rules where you intend to publish.

Limits of the article task

  • Output is capped at 2,000 tokens. A Long English article fits comfortably; in Arabic, Hindi, Japanese and other heavily tokenised languages a Long draft can be cut off, so choose Medium there.
  • Each article counts as one of the 12 AI requests allowed per minute from one address.
  • The topic and the finished article are processed by an open model on Groq's platform and are not stored by this site.

Frequently asked questions

How do I use the AI article writer?

Enter your topic, choose a tone and length, and click Write article. You'll get a structured draft with an intro, subheadings and a conclusion that you can edit and use.

Should I edit the article before publishing?

Yes. Treat it as a strong first draft — review the facts, add your own examples and voice, and fact-check anything important before publishing.

Is it free?

Yes, it's free with no account. Very frequent requests are briefly rate-limited.

Can it write the article in another language?

Yes. Write the brief in the language you want and the draft comes back in it. For long pieces in non-Latin scripts pick Medium, because the output budget is used up faster.

Why do the headings show ## symbols?

That is Markdown, the format the model is told to use for subheadings. Markdown editors render it automatically; elsewhere remove the hashes and apply a heading style.

Can I give it an outline to follow?

Yes. List the sections you want in the topic box, one per line, within the 800-character limit, and the draft will normally follow that order.

Is the article optimised for search engines?

Only as far as you make it. There is no keyword research built in. Put the phrase you want to rank for in the brief and it will be used naturally; write the title and meta description yourself.
