How do I add sales tax to a price?
Multiply the price by the tax rate and divide by 100 to get the tax, then add it to the price. For example, $100 at an 8.25% rate adds $8.25 in tax for a total of $108.25.
How do I remove sales tax from a total?
Use the 'Remove tax' option. We divide the tax-inclusive total by 1 plus the rate (as a decimal) to recover the original net price, then show how much of the total was tax.
